Jolly Buoy Island is the part of Mahatma Gandhi National Park, Andaman Islands. One Can reach Jolly Buoy Island from New Wandoor Beach which is 20 km from Port Blair.

While compared with North Bay Island dead corals, scuba diving and snorkelling experience quality Jolly Buoy Island is far ahead of it. Experiencing live coral and fish around you is something out of this world.

How To Reach :  

To go Jolly Buoy Island, one has to reach New Wandoor Beach from where boat services run by Government take you to the Island. All Boat leave at 9 am in the morning and come back together. Be sure to get there atleast an hour before.

There is a requirement of Permit and ticket before riding the boat to Island. Both are available one day before the trip and can be arranged by driver's or local's.

Jolly Buoy Island is  open for six months usually from November to April. Another Island called Red Skin for the another 6 Months period. On Monday the Islands are close. So plan your trip accordingly.
